Parent's Morning Out
![]() Parent's Morning Out (PMO) is the newest children's ministry program at Lewisburg United Methodist Church. PMO will be open on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings. To enroll your child or for more information, please call the church office at 304-645-2727 or e-mail Lara Nunley Edwards, Minister of Children and Christian Formation. Description: Parent's Morning Out (PMO) is a ministry for children ages 1 to 5 years and their parents. PMO strives to provide a safe, nurturing, stimulating environment where children can learn about God's world through play, song, crafts, and group activities. While one does not need to be a member of the Lewisburg United Methodist Church, all are invited to gather for worship and to participate in the numerous other activities that this church has to offer.
Daily Activities: Children will engage in activities such as art, free play, music and story time as well as other age appropriate developmental activities.
Days/Hours: Tuesday and Wednesday Mornings, 9:00am-12:30pm
Please note: Parent's Morning Out is first come, first serve. Please make a reservation to ensure a spot for your child by calling 304-645-2727. You may also drop off your child in the morning without a reservation, but please remember a place for your child is only guaranteed with a reservation.
Fees: $15.00 daily
$10.00 for each additional sibling
$20 for drop-ins
To Enroll: Call the church office at 304-645-2727 or e-mail Lara Nunley Edwards, Minister of Children and Christian Formation. Once we have spoken with you, we'll set up a time for you to fill out the appropriate paperwork to enroll your child.
Parent's Morning Out Staff:
Lauren Knipe, Parent's Morning Out Director, has a great love and respect for children. Lauren served as a Lead Teacher at The Learning Circle Preschool in Somerville, MA as well as a Nanny for a family with 3 children under the age of 4! Lauren has a B.A. in Psychology with an emphasis in child development from Pine Manor College. Lauren is certified in First Aid and CPR. Lauren and her husband, Robert, are relatively new to the area. They moved to the area in July 2008 when Robert began attending the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine.
