Worship

Lewisburg United Methodist Church offers three worship services each weekend.

Saturday Night Alive is held at 6pm on Saturday evenings.  This service is held in the church's fellowship hall on the first floor.  Folks are invited to come as they are to worship, fellowship and enjoy light refreshments.  Our pastors preach on Saturday Night as well as the two services on Sunday morning.

Sunday morning worship services are held at 9am and 11am.  These services are held in the sanctuary and include lots of music and a sermon by one of our pastors, Rev. Dr. Joe Kenaston or Rev. Beth Peters.

A Taizé worship service is also offered occasionally throughout the year. This quiet, meditative service includes spoken, sung and silent prayer. A variety of instruments, including the piano, guitar, flute, clarinet and violin, provide the musical accompaniment.  Holy Communion and the opportunity to be anointed with oil are also offered.
